Mood: waiting for wind
13th May 2007
Windsurfing: Pevensey Bay
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength: 11-19 knots
Surf / Sea State: flattish
Air Temperature: warm
Sea Temperature: ok
Weather: stopped raining and looked windier than it was!
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Nipped down to Pevensey for a late session as Bexwatch showed the wind switched to SW and looked like filling in, as opposed to pouring with rain and being marginal ESE.
Rigged 6.4m Remedy & Rocket 115 as looked good to go, with 11-19 knots on the windy, with a rough average of 14 knots. Sadly this wasn't backed up by what I found on the water, with current running downwind, it was always going to be short bursts of planing enthusiasm followed by stuffing back upwind off the plane. Deep joy !
To think I'd opted for 6.4m over the 7.4m , and I could even have taken a Mahala out ....
Despite it being marginal, I was pretty surprised that no-one else was out, not even the mad keen kiters from the bay ?!?!?
Needed a session after missing probably one of the best days (since the last best ever session anyway) yesterday .... hoped for a better one that I got tho !
